Silky Oaks has a great team of dedicated and qualified employees across our programs and corporate services.
With over 100 employees, Silky Oaks is committed to providing a continuous learning culture where individuals have the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally.

Volunteering
Our volunteers are an integral part of the Silky Oaks team and we are fortunate enough to have over 60 volunteers involved with us.
Silky Oaks is committed to providing volunteer opportunities for people to serve their local community in the following programs:
• Opp Shop
• Childcare Centre
• Maintenance

Practicum Placements
Silky Oaks supports placement opportunities for a variety of universities across a number of our programs.
Silky Oaks is committed to supporting student engagement with our organisation. Offering practicum placements enables students to develop and refine their knowledge and skills in real-world settings.
Student placement opportunities are limited, however exist in a number of our programs. For more information on vacancies and requirements, please email haven@silkyoaks.org.au.
