Ways to give
Silky Oaks gratefully receives donations in a variety of forms from generous individuals and businesses alike. Donations, whether monetary or physical items such as food or clothes, assist us to have meaningful impact in the lives of those who we serve.
Monetary Donations
Monetary donations are always greatly appreciated, with amounts over $2 being tax deductible. Donating to the Emergency Community Relief Assistance Fund (ECRAF), which operates under the Family Care & Support Program, enables us to provide emergency food, accommodation or assistance as needed or to the general operating expenses of Silky Oaks Children’s Haven.

Food Donations
On average, the Family Care and Support (FCS) team provide 400+ food hampers to people and families in need each year. Unfortunately, given the level of financial distress many people and their families are facing, we are expecting community need to rise.
Silky Oaks provide food hampers year-round and seek community contribution to be able to supply the volume that we do. Please view our current appeals page for specific food items we are requesting at this time.
We kindly ask that any items for donation be brought to our reception during the hours of 9:30am-4:00pm.
Opp Shop Donations
Our Opp Shop is located at our Bayside campus at 218 Manly Road, Manly. We gratefully accept all donations of goods with the exception of large items of furniture.
Items can be left anytime in or near the donation bins at the rear of the site or delivered to the Opp shop shed during business hours of 8am to 2pm.
Bequests
