We also partner with funders, ambassadors and supporters in designing, promoting and expanding our services.

Department of Child Safety, Seniors and Disability Services
The Department of Child Safety, Seniors and Disability Services (the Department) provides funding to Silky Oaks that allows us to support children and youth subject to a child protection intervention or order. Our Residential Program, providing out-of-home care, and Inspire Programs, offering therapeutic intervention, are both recipients of this funding. For many years, Silky Oaks has been working in partnership with the Department to achieve lasting outcomes for our clients.
Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works
The Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works (the Department) provides funding to Silky Oaks that allows us to provide centre-based and mobile support, as well as temporary supported accommodation, to individuals and families. Our Family Care & Support Program supports clients who are homeless, or at imminent risk of homelessness, in the Manly, Wynnum and Redlands geographical areas.
Coming together to make change and assist people and communities
to thrive.
Mangrove Housing
Mangrove Housing is a community housing organisation.
Silky Oaks and Mangrove Housing have worked closely together for a number of years through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), enabling workers from both organisations to work collaboratively to achieve positive housing outcomes for people experiencing housing and homelessness issues.
Bayside Uniting Church
Bayside Uniting Church (BUC) is located in Manly West. Silky Oaks and BUC have established an MOU for the provision of items needed by Silky Oaks clients in emergency situations. Motivated by their Christian faith, BUC has supplied essential household items, clothing such as school uniforms, linen and basic toiletries in emergency situations identified by the Family Care & Support team.
Brisbane City Council
The Brisbane City Council’s (BCC) Community Housing Partnership Program (CHPP) provides crisis and transitional accommodation to people experiencing homelessness and those at risk of homelessness in Brisbane. As a housing provider working with the CHPP program, Silky Oaks is given access to additional properties for use in our housing and homelessness program which enables us to provide more housing options to families in need.
