Donations

Donations are always greatly appreciated and amounts over $2 are tax deductible.

You can donate to the general operating expenses of Silky Oaks Children's Haven or to ECRAF (Emergency Community Relief Assistance Fund).
ECRAF operates under the Family Care and Support Program and enables us to provide emergency food, accomodation or assistance as needed. Please specify on the donation form where you would like your donation to go.

Opp Shop Donations

Our Opp Shop is located on site at 218 Manly Road, Manly. We gratefully accept all donations of goods with the exception of large items of furniture.
Donations can be left anytime in or near the donation bins at the rear of the site or delivered to the opp shop shed during business hours of 9 am to 4 pm.

Donations towards our Family Care & Support Team Appeal

The Family Care & Support Team operate a weekly support group for parents and carer's of children. We are raising funds to enable us to continue this important work and assist with the cost of providing food for lunches, local transport in picking people up if required, child-care, purchase of equipment for various projects, emergency food parcels and wages for social workers.

Volunteers

Silky Oaks has a large group of volunteers who assist in a variety of ways.

To apply for a volunteer position, you must be eligible to obtain a blue card.

We currently have an urgent need for volunteers to help with maintenance around the grounds and buildings along with volunteers to assist with the monthly car boot sales held on the fourth Saturday of each month.

Gifts-in-kind

We welcome the donation of goods or services that can be used in the day-to-day running of the organisation. Donations of non-perishable food items for our foodbank are also appreciated!
